Dr Wenbo Guo
Founder & Director
Dr. Wenbo Guo is the Founder and Director of Truebo Educational Consultancy Ltd. He earned his PhD from the School of Modern Languages at Newcastle University, specialising in the psycholinguistics of interpreting. His doctoral research on cognitive load and eye-tracking in interpreters was recognised with the Distinguished Research Scholarship.
Dr. Guo currently lectures in Translation and Interpreting at a leading UK university, where he also supervises master’s students. His academic background combines rigorous research with hands-on teaching experience across several renowned institutions in the UK and China.
With over twelve years of professional interpreting experience and a decade of personalised language training practice, Dr. Guo has worked extensively across international education, cross-cultural communication, and high-level language services. He has supported global clients including top universities, multinational corporations, and government bodies, providing linguistic and cultural expertise for major conferences, world expos, and international summits. His portfolio spans sectors such as luxury, automotive, energy, pharmaceuticals, finance, and technology.
As the founder of Truebo, Dr. Guo integrates his expertise in education, language, and international collaboration to bridge academia and industry between the UK and China.
